NMR New User Training:
All new users must complete the New User NMR Training course to use departmental NMR instruments.
After completion of the training, new users must fill out the New User Access form to obtain an NMR UserID.
External users - not collaborating with a PI in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology - must
pay a one-time training fee of $100.00.
NMR Billing Rates:
All users acquire NMR data for themselves. Assisted data acquisition* is available at an
extra cost. Please contact Dr. Seho Kim for assisted data acquisition.
NMR User Type

* NMR billing rates for assisted data acquisition are $50.00/hr for departmental users and
$160/hr for external users.
** $6.25/hr is for overnight (8pm – 8am) and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) hours.
NMR Scheduling:
Use our web-based NMR scheduling application within our building to sign up for NMR time.
You will need a University “NetID” to gain access to the scheduler.
External users can apply
for a guest NetID by following the instructions noted on the Computing Services web pages.
Once you obtain your NetID, contact Seho Kim who will add you as a user of the scheduler.
Please read our NMR sign-up rules once you have logged into the NMR scheduling web page.
