The application review process for the Fall 2017 semester is currently underway. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible. The deadline for applications for admission to the PhD program is January 6, 2017. Admission to the Graduate Program in Chemistry is based on careful evaluation of scholastic record, letters of recommendation, and performance on the Graduate Record Examinations. A GRE Subject test, in chemistry or an appropriate related discipline, is recommended for domestic applicants and highly recommended for international applicants. Applicants from countries where English is not the native language and for whom English has not been the primary language of instruction for their undergraduate education, must also submit satisfactory scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
The application form is available online from the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions.
