Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Physical Chemistry at Rutgers


The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (at New Brunswick), seeks to hire outstanding scholars into tenure-track positions in experimental physical chemistry or biophysical chemistry to start fall 2012. Rutgers is searching for exceptional scientists with the highest commitment to excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service. Applicants must have a significant record of scholarship in fundamental research and demonstrate great promise for developing a world-class research program.  The search is open to cross-disciplinary initiatives involving other departments and centers at Rutgers including the interdisciplinary Rutgers Institute for Advanced Materials, Devices and Nanotechnology (IAMDN) and BioMaPS Institute for Quantitative Biology. We welcome outstanding applicants with particular emphasis on candidates with cross-disciplinary research interests.  Applicants should submit a single PDF file containing their curriculum vitae and a 4-6 page detailed description of their research goals/vision to: search@chem.rutgers.edu.  Candidates should separately arrange for at least three letters of reference to be sent.
