Richa Rana selected for the 2014 ACS Student Leadership Award

Richa_Rana_v1.jpgThe program recognizes emerging leaders in the ACS student chapter network and helps them prepare for the leadership opportunities at volunteer organizations, such as ACS, and in their professional career. The board recognizes Richa's contributions and skills and believes that she has tremendous potential to be a successful leader.

The 2014 ACS Leadership Institute will be held January 24-26 at the InterContinental Dallas Hotel, Dallas, TX. At the conference, she will be able to participate in sessions with the Younger Chemist Committee members, and brainstorm with fellow ACS student leaders. She will also have an opportunity to participate in two of three leadership development courses in the ACS Leadership Development System.

Important notice to General Chemistry 161 students

All recitations for 161 will be on-line this semester. This does not include section 0S which is restricted to students in the ODASIS program and sections R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R8 which are restricted to students in the Solid Gems program.  Section 59 is being offered with both lecture and recitation being taught exclusively on-line.
