Collagen Matrix is looking for Quality Control Inspectors and Senior Manufacturing Techs. The qualified candidate must have graduated with a degree in Science with a 3.2 GPA or above.
Title: Quality Control Technician
Position Objectives: To verify that receiving, in-process and finished products, comply with documented specifications.
Position Responsibilities: Inspect and test receiving, in-process and finished products according to standard operating procedures. * Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. * Write and revise standard operational procedures. * Maintain the quality control laboratory and ensure laboratory safety requirements. * Qualify, maintain and calibrate quality control inspection, measuring and test equipment in accordance with schedules. * Maintain quality records in accordance with documented procedures. * Release/quarantine in-process materials based on inspection or test results. * Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Title: Senior Manufacturing Technician * Manufacturing Manager or Direct Supervisor Overall
Position Objectives: To manufacture quality medical devices and research products that are safe and effective and maintain process controls.
Position Responsibilities: Assist in the manufacturing of products in accordance with processing batch records. * Oversee production schedules and ensure appropriate deadlines are met. * Maintain process and environmental controls according to Standard Operating Procedures. * Conduct process validation/verification activities. * Keep work area cleaned and organized * Inspect work area upon arrival and departure for proper safety and cGMP housekeeping * Support validation/development initiatives and design transfer activities * Write and revise manufacturing procedures. * Clean and maintain manufacturing facility. * Qualify, maintain and calibrate production equipment in accordance with established schedules. * Maintain quality records including logbooks, binders, etc. * Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. * Assist with training manufacturing personnel. * Maintain supplies and requisition as needed.
