The reservations system automatically populates the contracted group rates for an all-inclusive five-day/five-night accommodations package so conferees are not required to enter a discount code.

The availability of multiple lodging options allows conference registrants traveling on a restricted budget to select the Standard Double Package and attend CALCON 2017 at an affordable cost of USD 1,195 (e.g., $ 600 for five days/nights of lodging/meals plus $ 595 meeting registration fee). Conferees who intend to arrive later than Sunday (30 July) and/or depart earlier than Friday (04 August) must reserve a partial residence accommodations package by contacting a Glen Eyrie representative directly at (800) 944-4536.

The Organizing Committee advises conference participants to secure their preferred lodging option (i.e., Standard, Deluxe, or Premier) early as attendees must reserve guest rooms at the Glen Eyrie Castle and Conference Center no later than 30 JUNE 2017 to ensure accommodations at these specially negotiated meeting prices. The Calorimetry Conference cannot guarantee availability of accommodation packages at the group contracted rate past the reservation cutoff deadline.

STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS

Young scientists represent the future of research at the interface of core disciplines and emerging technologies. The Conference Organizing Committee strongly advocates student participation at CALCON 2017 by encouraging principal investigators to register their younger colleagues. The Seventy Second Calorimetry Conference is subsidizing student registration fees (i.e., USD 295) and arranging shared accommodations to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to actively promote young scientist participation. The combination of reduced registration fees and shared accommodations allows students who select the Standard Quad Package to attend CALCON 2017 at an economical cost of USD 745 (e.g., USD 450 for five days/nights of lodging/meals plus USD 295 student registration fee).

OFFSITE COMMUTER PACKAGES

The Glen Eyrie accommodation options are designed to be cost-effective for CALCON 2017 registrants by combining lodging and meal expenses into economical all-inclusive package rates. Conferees must reserve their commuter packages prior to 30 JUNE 2017 by contacting a Glen Eyrie representative at (800) 944-4536.
